Pre-Plant Plus 7-5-7 (5 lb bag)

This 5 lb repack of Pre-Plant Plus 7-5-7 is sized for vegetable beds, flowers, young trees, and targeted planting areas. The balanced formula is intended for pre-plant soil preparation and measured follow-up feeding.

Product profile

The crumbled fertilizer supplies 7% nitrogen, 5% phosphate, 7% potash, and 4% calcium. Ingredients include feather meal, meat and bone meal, and mined potassium sulfate. Nutrients release gradually as the animal-based materials break down.

• Vegetable guidance: 2–3 lb per 100 sq ft before planting
• Young trees: published guidance is 1 lb for trees under four years old
• Mature trees: published guidance is 2–4 lb per tree

Use a soil test and crop needs to refine the rate, especially where compost or other fertilizer has already been applied. Incorporate evenly and avoid concentrating fertilizer directly against roots or stems. Store the closed bag dry and wash after handling animal-derived fertilizer.

Organic status: This repackaged 5 lb size is not represented as organic or as approved for certified organic production. The 50 lb original package carries its own CDFA organic-use approval; that status does not transfer to this repack.
