Ingenious plant breeding has produced this amazing red napa cabbage with upright heads of saturated magenta leaves. Best planted for late summer to fall harvest when weather begins to cool.
The leaves are red throughout, but never bitter in this fall wonder. Heads are 1.2-1.5kg (2.5-3.5lb). The leaves look incredible in salads, and they keep their colour when lightly cooked. Lightweight row cover is recommended, as this beauty gets sown at the peak of the small white butterfly (cabbage moth) population.
