Roots Organics Rain Surfactant

Roots Organics Rain promotes water penetration and aids in the dispersion of foliar applications. Combining the natural wetting agents yucca and quillaja, this product reduces water surface tension and enhances the movement of solutions and soluble nutrients throughout the rhizosphere.

Think of it like a ball of water sitting on a leaf versus a flattened ball of water sitting on a leaf. The flattened ball of water has way more surface area and thus increases the effectiveness of foliar feeding.

By reducing surface tension and increasing the leaf surface to foliar and liquid fertilizers, Roots Organics Rain enhances the effectiveness of foliar-applied agents.

Use this product to assist water infiltration, increase the volumetric moisture content of media, reduce evaporative water loss, improve irrigation efficiency, and equalize the osmotic differential in soil and soilless media by mediating more uniform moisture distribution. Roots Organics Rain is a powerful gardening tool for foliar and root zone application.

Active Ingredient: Yucca schidigera extract (wetting agent) 80.0%
Active Ingredient: Quillaja saponaria extract (wetting agent) 16.0%
Inert Ingredient: Aloe vera extract 4.0%

APPLICATION RATE

Foliar Adjuvant
Add 1 - 3 tsp per gallon (5 - 15 ml) to your final spray solution. Apply to foliage just before the lights are turned off and allow plants to dry before lights are turned on. Do not apply during final weeks of flower.

Container Gardening
Add 1/2 tsp - 1 tsp per gallon (2.5 - 5 ml) to fertilizer solution. If media is difficult to wet, then add a small amount of fertilizer solution to each container and return in 15 minutes to add the rest. Use with any fertilizer program or water to enhance solution dispersion.

Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds
Add 5 – 7.5 TBS per 10 gallon (75 - 110 ml) to fertilizer solution. Resulting 10 gallon solution can be applied monthly over an area of up to 1,000 square feet.
