Much like the "Rosie" who tirelessly toiled in the factories and shipyards of the American defense industry during World War II, this Rosie the Riveter is the workhorse of the garden. It produces an arsenal of unusually colored, 3—3½" double blooms of classic form that emit a moderately strong fruit-and-spice fragrance. Each lush flower debuts from an exquisitely pointed bud and is packed with 30 to 45 petals. The buds open atop the dark, very glossy foliage of its bushy, nicely rounded habit. Use one as the spectacular centerpiece of your garden or several to magnificently line a walkway. Also excellent in containers placed on patio corners or alongside entryways.
