Sarracenia flava var. rubricorpora - American Pitcher Plant

Sarracenia flava var. rubricorpora showcases rich crimson pigmentation that saturates the entire pitcher structure, distinguishing it from related varieties. Deep red to maroon colouring extends from base to apex, complemented by a subtly lighter lid, creating a sophisticated aesthetic. These plants demonstrate exceptional visual impact when positioned to receive backlighting, revealing the depth and intensity of its natural colouration.

• Skill Level: Easy.
• Light: Min 3 hours direct sun, max all day.
• Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
• Dormancy: New leaves stop forming during the colder months and old leaves will slowly die off.
• Pot Size 15cm (2L).

Please note some Sarracenia are very large in size and leaves will have to be bent or cut down to fit in smaller boxes. Leaves grow quickly so you don't need to worry about losing some.

• Bare root option is available to save on shipping, as the pots are 2kg each. Please message me if you wish to go this route, but take note you need special soil types to replant on arrival as they live in moss or peat, not potting soil.
