The Red Abdita (Tillandsia brachycaulos var. abdita) starts out a soft green and dramatically blushes to a fiery red as it matures and approaches bloom. The Velutina charms with its sage-green, velvety-soft leaves that transition to a blush-mauve over time and produce gorgeous purple flowers. The Caput Medusae earns its name with twisting, tentacle-like silvery-green leaves that grow from a bulbous base, creating a striking sculptural silhouette. All three are beginner-friendly, soil-free epiphytes that absorb water and nutrients through their leaves, requiring only bright indirect light and a weekly soak or regular misting to thrive.

Each live air plant arrives nestled in a small, handcrafted ivory ceramic vase measuring 2 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall, with a flat base for tabletop display and a hole for optional wall or hanging display, making them as versatile in decor as they are easy to care for.

Place your air plants in bright, indirect light near a window, avoiding prolonged direct sun that can scorch leaves.
