Shinseiki Asian Pear Tree is a reliable producer of golden-yellow fruit with the crispness of an apple and the refreshing juice of a pear. Its medium-size pears have smooth skin, a clean honey-like sweetness, and a lighter flavor than richly russeted varieties such as Hosui. That easygoing character makes Shinseiki excellent for fresh eating, lunchboxes, salads, desserts, and cheese plates. The fruit ripens relatively early, bringing Asian pear season to the garden while summer is still in full swing. White spring blossoms add ornamental beauty and draw pollinators before the golden crop develops. For smaller orchards and mild-winter gardens, Shinseiki offers an appealing combination of modest chill needs, manageable semi-dwarf growth, dependable cropping, and fruit that tastes especially bright when chilled and sliced on a warm day.

Shinseiki grows semi-dwarf on OHxF333 rootstock and is suited to USDA zones 5–10, with a confirmed 250–300 chill-hour requirement.
