Several special features make it easy for gardeners to cut stems in various sizes: The comfortable, ergonomic grip features hand-forged aluminum handles with rubber shock absorbers. The titanium-coated, carbon steel upper blade resists rust and is notched to wrangle larger stems. The riveted lower blade has a sap groove. A two-step catch provides choice of cutting widths.
