An elaborate Napoleon III marriage dome. The detail is extraordinary, the gold colored brass is adorned with flowers, swallows, foliage and cupid angels. The bridal crown sits on the lower cushion, above, curiously there is a bell. The blown glass dome was custom made to perfectly cover the work.
It is said that elements were added each year to celebrate moment's in the couple's marriage (children born etc.)
