The 'Hawaiian' Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum) is a unique and highly decorative cultivar of the classic Spider Plant.![]()
Unlike the common 'Vittatum', the 'Hawaiian' variety has a glowing golden-yellow center on new growth. As the leaves age, this center fades to a soft white, giving the plant a multi-toned look.![]()
It produces small, delicate star-shaped white flowers on long, wiry stems called "runners." Once the flowers fade, tiny plantlets (pups) grow in their place. Known for being an "air-scrubbing" powerhouse, it is famous for its ability to filter indoor toxins like formaldehyde and xylene.
