A longtime star of catalogs and interior design magazines, this hard-to-find foliage plant is an easy-care evergreen shrub that adds a tropical feel to any interior. Native to Central America, Split-leaf Philodendron (Monstera deliciosa) grows as an understory vine, climbing the trunks and branches of trees in the rainforest to reach up to 70’. Indoors, it is considerably tamer, creating a lush mound of glossy leaves in a container. The heart-shaped leaves are whole when young, and as they age, they develop perforations and splits. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Also known as Swiss Cheese Plant. Shipped in a Water Hyacinth basket with liner that measures approximately 13" wide x 12" tall, excluding handles.
