Dating from the late nineteenth century, a superb French signed brass Art Nouveau two-tier floor shelf display stand. The original look features two glass shelves which could have been used to display items for sale for example in a luxury hat shop in Paris. The brass metal frame features a nickel-colored finish.
This would be a lovely piece to complete a display in a dressing closet or in a hotel to display desserts, or in a retail store. Without the glass panels they could be used as adjustable hooks for holding ties, ribbon, etc. Note the heights are adjustable by using the two turn screws.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
