A driftwood tree trunk stands beside your sofa with two golden mushroom caps glowing at different heights and a turned wood shelf holding your books and coffee cup between them. The trunk is stripped bare, grey-toned, with branch stubs and knot holes casting small shadows in the warm light. Natural Driftwood Trunk with Branch
The trunk is a single piece of naturally aged driftwood with a real branch growing from one side. The branch is not attached or grafted. It is part of the original tree, left intact where it forked from the main stem. The driftwood surface is stripped of bark, revealing the pale grey heartwood underneath with its natural cracks, knot holes, branch stubs, and weathered grain. Each trunk is hand-selected from naturally fallen or reclaimed wood for its branching structure, height, and visual character. No two trunks share the same fork angle, the same knot pattern, or the same surface texture.
Dual Mushroom Caps with Gill Glow
Two polished mushroom caps sit at different heights on the trunk. The tall cap crowns the top of the main stem with a wide parasol shape. The shorter cap grows from the branch at roughly hip height, angled outward. Both caps have hand-carved gill lines radiating from the center outward to the rim. Built-in LED strips in each cap shine through the carved channels, creating warm 2700K sunburst patterns that overlap and layer across the room. The tall cap lights the seating area from above. The lower cap lights the shelf surface and the side of the sofa. Both are dimmable independently.
Built-In Mushroom Shelf
A turned wood disc sits upside-down on the branch, just below the lower cap. The disc has a carved rim ridge around its edge, creating a shallow tray surface that holds books, a coffee cup, a phone, or a small plant without anything sliding off. The shelf is positioned at sofa arm height, functioning as a side table without taking any additional floor space. The rim has carved gill-like ridges on the outside, matching the mushroom theme of the caps above.
Reclaimed Wood Block Base
The base is a thick rectangular block of reclaimed wood with a weathered, rustic surface. It provides a stable, heavy platform for the tall driftwood trunk. The flat bottom sits flush on the floor. A braided cloth cord exits from the back of the base, lying flat along the floor to the nearest outlet.

Care
Wipe polished caps and shelf with a slightly damp cloth. Reapply wood oil once a year. Dust the driftwood trunk with a soft dry brush. The driftwood may develop minor surface changes over time, which adds character. Avoid placing wet items directly on the shelf without a coaster. LED components need no maintenance.
