Converting outdated, inefficient 2-ft. fluorescent U-Bend fixtures to Toggled direct-wire LED tubes can save up to 70% in energy costs and improves overall quality of light.
This item converts T8 and T12 U-Bend 2-foot fixtures from two (2) fluorescent U-Bend tubes to three (3) 2-foot Toggled direct-wire LED tubes. Direct-wire technology does not require the use of fluorescent ballasts, so potential future replacement costs are no longer necessary.
Bypassing fluorescent ballasts NOW bypasses future ballast hassles down the road and also saves energy. Typical fluorescent ballasts can consume up to 4 watts of energy per tube.
