uBloomd Green Insect Sticky Traps

Say goodbye to those pesky fungus gnats. With uBloomd Green Sticky Traps it’s easy to protect your plants against flying insects like Fungus Gnats. These sticky traps are double-sided, waterproof, and UV-protected. They are non-toxic to all furry friends and are recommended for indoor use only.

UBloomd Sticky Traps or "stealth traps" sit discreetly in your plants down at the soil level where the fungus gnat adults lay their eggs. The adults are attracted to the colour and scent, get stuck and die on the trap. And with one adult laying up to 200 eggs, every catch is vital in breaking the lifecycle. Being green, and the perfect smaller size for houseplants, uBloomd Sticky Traps blend perfectly into your plant collection and with the added benefit of being green is that on average 12% more pests were caught than the other colours during testing.

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Size: Traps are 5cm round and Wooden support sticks are 2cm wide and 10cm long.
• Available in two designs: circle shape and monstera Leaf shape.

• Each uBloomd Sticky Trap pack purchased includes: 10x waterproof Green Traps, 10x biodegradable Wooden support sticks, an information card, and all placed within a compostable zip-lock bag.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Take 1x Sticky Trap and 1x Wooden Stick.
• Remove the protective layer from one or both sides to expose the sticky coating. 
• Attach the sticky side of the Trap to the support stick.
• Push the stick into the soil as deep as possible so that the trap stands upright just above the soil level.
• Replace the trap when full of insects and dispose of trap in your household rubbish.

TIPS:

• In colder months, sticky traps may become dislodged from their wooden support sticks. 
• Occassionally your fungus gnat issue may be quite extensive and sticky traps won't work on it's own. We highly recommend you use them in conjunction with our Oxygen Plus Hydrogen Peroxide, which kills any eggs or larvae that remain in the soil.
• How long does 1 trap last? This is dependent on the level of your fungus gnat infestation. In the uBloomd's testing,  a trap (once opened) stays sticky for up to 6 months. Unpeeled, stored in a cool, dry place, they can be used up a year after purchase. One trap per infested plant is recommended.
• The fungus gnat lifecycle is as short as 17 days or as long as 4 to 5 weeks at different times of year, and treating them tends to take at least 2 lifecycles minimum, so you may require enough traps for at least 2 months per infested plant.
