Very Small 19th Century Olive Jar 18"

This lovely petite olive jar dates from the nineteenth century. It has a light custard yellow glaze around the rim and is glazed on the interior as well. Olive jars such as these were used for storing and transporting olives and olive oil around the Mediterranean. The perfect addition to an existing collection of pottery or to add a touch of French country to your outside or inside space.
