Norma Pauline Driscoll was born in 1927, Great Falls Montana. She moved to Eugene Oregon and earned a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Oregon, 1954. She married Robert Clymer Gilmore, a fellow art student in 1952 . She and her husband were heavily influenced by Cézanne, Picasso, Poussin, and classical thought. Norma studied under Jack Wilkinson and Dave McCosh. She has created well over a thousand paintings and other works over more than seven decades of painting.
