Vintage Shigra Basket

Hailing from Ecuador, shigra bags were made for women to hold necessities such as seeds or tubers that they would need for planting. These days we like using them as a whimsical way to hang plants 

Tightly woven of natural materials, dyed with plants. Hang from the straps or tuck them in and pop a pot inside 

hangs 32” and the bucket is 10 x 10”
