White Texas Everbearing Fig

White Texas Everbearing are tall-growing trees that may reach up to 15 ft. The trees are productive and drought tolerant. White Texas Everbearing trees grow yellow figs and 3- and 5-lobed leaves. The leaves are compact with straight edges. While the figs have slightly open eyes, spoilage does not seem to be a common issue. White Texas Everbearing may also go by the name of "Texas White." Some growers think that Texas White may be a synonym of Kadota. The variety originally comes from the fig breeding program at University of California, Davis.

The figs may even have a white cast to their skin. White Texas Everbearing figs grow to medium and large size. They have a uniform drop shape and an attractive appearance. White Texas Everbearing figs contain a jammy, amber pulp. The pulp is yellow and may have a touch of brown in the center. These figs have a moderately rich flavor and taste of brown sugar and sweet agave nectar.

When do we ship cuttings?

Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):

We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.

**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.

Rooted Cuttings(Spring):

We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
