The plant will be carefully wrapped and nestled in crinkle paper so that any shock to the packaging can be absorbed and remain safe. Our paper packaging allows the plants to breathe during their travel!

Kalanchoe tomentosa 'Chocolate Soldier' is a beautiful shruby succulent that slowly grows up to 2.6 feet (80 cm) tall. Stems are erect, branched at the base, super fuzzy and hairy, with the base becoming woody with age.
Locate the plant in morning sun, partial or filtered is preferable. The chocolate soldier kalanchoe does not need as much sun as many other succulent plants. If the plant has been inside, acclimate it gradually to outdoor sun. If you wish to keep it inside, the chocolate soldier kalanchoe is adaptable to a bright light or artificial light situation.
The Chocolate soldier's fuzzy hairs help retain even more water. As with other succulent plants, the leaves store water on which the plant can live for months, especially in winter. Limit watering of the chocolate soldier in all seasons, but especially in winter. When you water the plant, water thoroughly, not allowing it to sit in a saucer of water afterward. Do not water again until the plant shows a need. (ex: leaves that are no longer solid to the touch.)
