Chinese Evergreen 'Tigress' in white ceramic cachepot

One look tells you where Chinese Evergreen 'Tigress' gets her name, the plant’s lustrous, jade green, blade-shaped leaves patterned in brushstrokes of paler green to suggest a tiger’s stripes. This multi-stemmed, upright indoor plant is a remarkably low-maintenance roommate that prefers bright to medium indirect light but will tolerate low light. The color of the foliage may change depending on the exposure. ‘Tigress’ is sized just right to add a natural, easy-care accent to any room where it can be displayed as a floor plant or in a plant stand. Aglaonema is a genus of evergreen perennials from tropical Southeast Asia and New Guinea, commonly referred to as Chinese Evergreens. Prized for their striking ornamental foliage, they feature broad, lance-shaped leaves in shades of green, silver, red, or pink. Although native to warm, humid understory environments, they have proven to be easy-to-grow houseplants, tolerant of inconsistent watering and dry indoor air.
