Passion Flower ‘Maui’ (Passiflora coccinea)

Scarlet red flowers bloom one after the other from late fall through spring and older vines will bloom sporadically throughout the summer. Although, the flowers only last a day, Passion Flower ‘Maui’ has enough color and vigor to keep the gardener entertained. This clone came to us from the Enchanted Floral Gardens on Maui and the flower is a full inch larger than the standard red Passion Flower miniata. When cross pollinated, it produces a delicious edible fruit which is often found in markets throughout South America.
